For most of my adult life, service and public safety have been a major part of who I am.
For 35 years, I have worked as a paramedic, helping people during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Paramedicine has taught me to remain calm under pressure, understand the facts, assess risk, make responsible decisions and accept accountability for the outcome.
I spent 12 years as a volunteer firefighter with the Bradford Fire Department.
That service gave me firsthand experience with emergency response, fire protection, community safety and municipal services.
I have been a licensed pilot for over 40 years. Aviation demands preparation, discipline, situational awareness, good judgment and respect for risk.
You prepare.
You understand the conditions.
You make decisions based on the information available.
And you remain accountable for those decisions.
I am not running because I believe one councillor can solve every problem. Municipal government does not work that way.
I am running because Ward 1 deserves a councillor who will:
Preparation. Responsibility. Service. Safety. Accountability. That is what I want to bring to Ward 1.
